The penthouse balcony drain blocked up over time and in 2014 a storm flooded the whole top of the building, and water started streaming down the inside of all the perimeter curtain wall windows. We first fixed the drains, and then the failed overflow system, and later fixed all the balcony perimeter membrane system, including replacing all the balcony perimeter membrane and tiles. We also replaced all the balcony tiles with the pods & paver system which is a new type of design with white pavers shown in the below photos.
